You would look far and wide to find a more satisfying and fun family or group treat than this chocolate fondue recipe. It does require a fondue pot. However, I have had modest success just heating the chocolate in a small sauce pan and then distributing to guests in small bowls, keeping the main pot on low heat on the stove to refresh the small bowls as the fondue is consumed.

8 squares  (8 oz) semisweet chocolate
1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
1/3 cup milk

In a heavy saucepan melt chocolate over low heat. Stir in sweetened condensed mild and regular milk till well blended. Heat through.  Transfer to a fondue pot; place over fondue burner.  If mixture becomes too thick, stir in a little more milk.  Spear desired fondue dipper (see below) with a fondue fork; dip into the chocolate fondue mixture. Enjoy!

Fondue Dippers:

Angel food cake cut into cubes
Pound cake cut into cubes
Pineapple chunks
Strawberries
Miniature or whole marshmallows
Bananas sliced into chunks
Kiwi chunks
Mandarin Oranges
